For the second year running we were in St. George for Thanksgiving. Similar to last year we pre-cooked all of our Thanksgiving Day dinner so all we needed to do was reheat things.
The weather mostly cooperated, but we did get a day of rain on Friday unexpectedly. This put a little damper on our Saturday climbing since we needed to let the rocks dry out a bit more. The temps were also pretty cool and between the rain and the cooler temps Carly and I didn’t do one of the long objectives we’d planned to do in Zion called Cowboy Ridge (5.7). We stuck to bouldering, running, and hiking around St. George instead.
